Test Bench: Celestion CF0617M Prosound Midrange Driver

The transducer I received for this month’s Test Bench is the CF0617M, a new high power handling 6.5” midrange, from Celestion. The CF0617M is one of my favorite formats in a pro sound mid. Celestion drivers have graced the pages of Voice Coil many times, so I won’t go through the history and background of this near iconic pro sound OEM, but if you are interested, a short history of Celestion can be found in the September 2013 Voice Coil.
