chissà perchè tutti sti gegni alla fine si sono dedicati alle minkiate tipo surraund...........
quello che sfugge a tutti questi minkia è che la gente che sapeva registrare i dischi..ha smesso di farlo a metà anni 60..

dopo ci sono stati un mucchio di alan parson...ma il suono della musica nei dischi non c'era più.................
non sò se ci avete fatto caso ma suona più naturale ( anche se peggio) stg peppers che the wall...

Vero... però ho un articolo impressionate, preso da una rivista americana di Audio-Pro di parecchi anni fa: parla del confronto fatto tra diverse tecniche di ripresa stereofonica... con tanto di prove d'ascolto condotte da veri professionisti.
Dice che la tecnica Ambisonics (inventata da M. Gerzon) supera tutte con ampio margine... Chissà perché...!

Morto Gerzon, è andata perduta una parte fondamentale della sua teoria: la parte che riguarda gli Shelf Filters...

(conservo come un tesoro la copia della terza parte, mai pubblicata, del suo decoder, su WW... che mi diede di persona)


Stessa sorte delle grandi cupole romane, come quella del Pantheon, la cui teoria ha atteso il secondo millennio, per essere riscoperta...!!!

Pensate quanto è triste ed accattone il povero "piccolo mondo" dell'Hi-Fi, se qualcuno può scrivere questo:
un breve riassunto per chi si è perso qualche puntata precedente:

siamo immersi in uno dei più grandi errori di tutti i tempi, di tutte le scienze:

la descrizione del SUONO attraverso l'onesto teorema del pupo fourier, gli togli l'accadimento e resta quello che non arriva al cervello poichè mancano il mascheramento, l'accadimento, le relazioni di svolgimento e l'attenzione differenziale

la descrizione di due recchie ed un cervello mediante un microfono

la descrizione di un campo mediante la rilevazione, non si sa di cosa, in un punto

la mancanza dei tempi di esistenza e del loro decadere differenziale, al massimo si è considerato il tempo di riverbero

la mancata considerazione della STORIA spazio temporale

la mancata modellizzazione del sistema NON INVARIANTE

la mancata comprensione dell' OGGETTO della riproduzione e delle condizioni imprescindibili in cui la riproduzione viene realizzata


GERZON.....porodisgraziato se finito nelle mani del topo animato

lo sta usando per martellarsi i coglioni, non se ne accorge lui e neppure chi lo legge

PIOMBERA' micheletto e sarà entusiasta!
Propongo una raccolta di monetine da 1-2-5 centesimi, da devolvere all'autore in segno di "stima" e considerazione...

Poveraccio davvero, se è ridotto a questo !!!

L'implicazione terra terra è che ci vogliono almeno 4 vie con una divisione radicale intorno ai 700Hz. Ognuna delle vie deve trattare l'allineamento temporale in modo specifico, perché i meccanismi di "decodifica real-time" del sistema orecchio-cervello non sono uniformi su tutta la banda. Mi sembra ovvio che tutto questo non è tenuto in considerazione dalla maggior parte dei diffusori commerciali (2 e tre vie), incluso molti sistemi monitor professionali, ed incluso i diffusori con i crossover da 6dB con il pannello inclinato per ottenere il miglior allineamento temporale.

La questione della relazione tra verticalità ed alte frequenze è molto interessante, mi chiedo se un tweeter piazzato ad altezza orecchio (furbata per massimizzare la SPL in asse alle misure) abbia senso. La cosa è molto interessante, infatti sembra quasi l'undicesimo comandamento che il TW deve stare ad altezza orecchio. E mi sono sempre chiesto perché a me non ha mai funzionato. Tanto che Il mio TW irradia ad un angolo solido di 30°e per farlo lo devo tenere parecchio alto rispetto al punto di ascolto... restituendo un illusione stereo di gran lunga più efficace.

secondo me
l'età d'oro dell'hifi e dei dischi è stata dagli anni 50 ai 60
anni in cui tutti cercavano di fare meglio degli altri in termini di qualità..
ricordiamoci che in quegli anni quasi tutti gli americani avevano in casa roba ad alta dinamica e roba a valvole che come qualità surclassava 1000 volte quello che c'è oggi nelle case degli stereofili...


poi i produttori capirono che costa meno la pubblicità che ricerca della qualità..............
quindi questi signori..studiarono cose ormai inutili..........
